Kalimpong Haat Bazaar - Raja Dorji Market
On Wednesdays and especially Saturdays, this normally quietish bazaar roars to life with a plethora of merchandise Villagers from nearby areas come here and set up stalls to sell their goods. The market is quiet popular and one can experience the true local flavors.

Zong Dong Palri Fo Brang Monastery
Zong Dhog Pairi Fo Brang Monastery offering a panoramic view of the town of Kalimpong, the snow-clad Himalayan ranges of West Sikkim, the Teesta river and its valleys, Situated on Durpin Dara Hill this Monastery is extremely beautiful both architecturally and due to its graceful numerous Tankha paintings

Dr. Graham's Homes
This extraordinary educational hub is situated on Deolo Hills on the eastern fringes of Kalimpong town and is more than hugred years old..Sprawl over nearly 500 acres of land. and has its own farmland, dairy, bakery, hospital and other departments of need. The area is calm, quite and beautiful.

Tharpo Choling Monastery
A beautiful , tiny little monastery on a hilltop is all that you need for that picture perfect setting. I was told by the resident monks that this monastery was built by Domo Geshe Rinpoche Kalsang in 1912 at the request of Bhutanese and Tibetan leaders. The place is well maintained and very very peaceful!!

Tongsa Gompa
A short distance below the junction of RC Mintri and Rishi Rds is this charming Nyingmapa-school monastery, also known as the Bhutanese Monastery. The gompa was founded in 1678, but the present main building, surrounded by 220 small prayer wheels, was built in the 19th century.

Mary Mother of God Catholic Church
Built by local craftsmen the church resembles a Bhutanese Gompa(monastery) and it is built in Tibetan architectural design. While the walls are enriched with paintings and inscriptions from the Bible the doors of the church have carvings which resemble tashi tagye (the 8 auspicious symbols of the Himalayan Buddhism).

Flower Nurseries
For anyone with even a mild interest in cacti, this is a real treasure trove. Vast collections of different types of cacti are arranged to good advantage and they all look healthy, and are obviously 'happy' if their flowers or 'babies' are anything to go by.

Deolo View Point
The Deolo hill offers spectacular views of bustle town,nearby villages and Mt. Kanchenjungha. It is the highest point of Kalimpong town and from the top of the hill we found beautiful surrounding villages of Relli valley and river Teesta meandering its way along with the town. There is a nice guest house which is run by the government. Deolo has a well maintained garden and park. Beautiful place for photography.

Pedong
Pedong is a beautiful hill-station in the Eastern Himalayas, located at a height of 4100 feet, and very close to the buzzing town of Kalimpong. Pedong is known for its historical charm and abundant natural beauty. From pine forests, lush green valleys to gorgeous views of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Siniolchu – this place has an overwhelming lot to offer.

Lava
Lava also attracts many trekkers. The forested areas around Lava are also a paradise for bird watchers. You can see many different birds like Blue Robins, Fulvetta, Finch, Wren Babblers and lot more.

Kaffer / Lolay Gaon
Lole Gaon is nature's paradise on its own with beautiful landscape, comprising lush green forest and serene valleys. The peaks of Kanchenjunga rise majestically in the morning mist. Lolegaon is a one hour journey from Kalimpong and Lava through the serpentine forest road. Lolegaon offers small treks and trails. An Ideal destination for unwinding and relaxation.

Samthar Plateau
It has breathtaking views of the snowy mountains, superb sunrise and sunset, picture post card hamlets, exotic flora, forests, mountain streams and river-pools, all far from the maddening crowd.

Neora National Park
The famous Neora National Park is located in Kalimpong was established in the year 1986. Considered as one of the wealthiest biological zones, this park spreads over a region of about 88 Sq. km. and is situated near Lava at a dense forest in the foothill of majestic Himalayan Mountains. Wildlife enthusiasts can enjoy visiting this place as it houses different varieties of animals and birds. Tourists can easily sight the golden headed black finch, blind snake and king cobra in their natural habitat.
